Service was excellent location was very good room was very clean and very nice staff was very nice and very friendly I was very impressed and happy to be able to sleep and have a great time with my wife. Thank you for your hospitality and dedication

They are doing alright

m staying in the Crowne Plaza Columbus. I was here for a meeting with a large group of people. I checked in Thursday night and my check out is tomorrow, Monday. I have the receipt for my payment. I have an Uber coming at 4 AM. I was just awoken by a phone call from the front desk telling me she doesn’t have anyone checked in my room and I have to leave or she’s going to call the police. She wanted me to come down to the front desk and I told her no because I was asleep and in my pajamas. I went back to sleep. Then she knocked at the door with two security guards and told me she’s going to have me arrested if I don’t come down to the front desk. I offered to show her proof of my payment, she said, no, she needs me to come to the front desk to figure out who I am and why I’m still here. I said she was talking to me now why can’t you figure it out here while you have me? I told her if she forced me to leave the room that I paid for I was going to sue. Is this the way you treat your guests, waking them up twice from a dead sleep when they have an early morning Uber to try to drag them out of the room because you made a mistake in your system, and threatened to call the police and have them arrested?

Been staying here for well over a decade and every year hotel seems to be in worse shape. They had my reservation all messed up and could not get the sales manager to call me back, even after I actually spoke to her for a few seconds and she promised to call me back. AC in room worked well. TV had good viewing options. The cleaning crew was spot on and did a great job on my room daily. Common areas did not have AC. Had to get my key reactivated every day for over a weeks stay. Ice makers on all but two floors did not work. Charge an excessive amount to park my truck and trailer. If this was not the Good Guys event hotel, and if we had not been staying here for past 20 years, then we would find a new place. Also the breakfast buffet is not worth the price of admission!

Indifferent-to-unfriendly staff, ants in the room, no clean towels brought when requested, no replacement of soaps and shampoo, barely adequate breakfast buffet - the parent company needs to upgrade this hotel ASAP. At least the room was quiet, and the sole employee doing dinner service was friendly.

If you're looking for an okay property, this is the place. Upon arriving, we were told the pool would be out of service for the duration of our stay due to needing chemicals, which was a disappointment for our crew because the pool is the one great feature of this hotel. It was open the next day but didn't work with our schedule at that point. Charged a $60 returnable fee upfront (not a fan of this approach). Mold on ceiling in bathroom. Remote didn't work unless you were within 5" of the tv. No hair dryer. Most ice machines broken yet able to make a really loud noise. Lack of amenities other hotels offer, but it is typically cheaper. Overall, fairly rundown.
